PU EN AF 321: Coastal Resouces Policy and Management

On Saturday, September 20th the students of UWGB’s Coastal Resources Policy and Management class took a field trip to Door County’s Lake Michigan coastline to study the coastal processes and responses of three distinct coastlines. The foretasted thunderstorms passed before dawn and we were treated to a gorgeous day on the lake.  The intense storms that passed in the early morning were still affecting Lake Michigan; we were treated to some pretty spectacular examples of wave action, rip currents, and erosion.
